The NECAUX table protector is made of a new Low-Flavor Formula material, which only has a slight smell. If you notice a strong plastic odor, you can simply soak the table cover in a mix of warm water and laundry detergent for 5 minutes, then wash and air-dry it. This will effectively eliminate the smell, allowing you to use the protector normally.

Regarding heat resistance, the table cover can withstand temperatures up to 176°F/80°C. It is safe to place containers below this temperature directly on the protector. However, if the temperature is higher, it is recommended to use a silicone pad to prevent potential damage to the desktop.

The new CLEAR pad has a slightly sticky surface. If your wooden table is newly painted or refinished, it is advised to use a tablecloth or opt for the FROSTED version instead, as the paint may not be fully cured and could stick to the pad. Glass, metal, and marble tabletops will not be affected.

To choose the right size, simply measure the width and length of your tabletop and refer to our listings. If the perfect size is not available or out of stock, you can select a larger size and easily cut it to fit using a sharp scissors or knife. Alternatively, you can soak it in hot water for a few minutes or expose it to direct sunlight, then lay it flat again. Lastly, you can use double-sided tape dots to adhere the protector to the table, but ensure the adhesive won't damage the surface.
